About Ashley Dental

Dr. Janel Ashley, DDS

Dr. Janel Ashley was raised in Hudson, WI and graduated from St. Croix Central High School. She continued her education at Winona State University for undergrad and finished her education at the University of MN School of Dentistry, obtaining her DDS degree. After graduation, she began working at Dr. Robert Bardill’s dental office in North Hudson. She was given the opportunity to purchase the practice, which is now Ashley Dental. Dr. Ashley could not be more proud to continue the practice with the same philosophy of ‘Patient First’, that Dr. Bardill had had for the past 40 plus years. She strives to create a space for patients to feel comfortable, heard and well taken care of. Dr. Ashley keeps up to date in the field of dentistry through continuing education to provide the highest quality of dental care to her patients.

She is married to her husband, Shawn, and together they have two
children, Jay and Demi. As a family, they love to explore the outdoors and
take in all that Hudson and the surrounding communities have to offer.

Jenny Hansen – Licensed Dental Hygienist

Jenny grew up in Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1996. She moved with her husband to Hudson and joined Ashley Dental in 2008. Jenny enjoys working with patients and helping them learn more about their health. When she’s not in the office, you can find Jenny and her family at most Hudson sporting events.

Jessica Friederick – Licensed Dental Hygienist

Jessica graduated from Madison Area Technical College in 2008 and has been practicing dental hygiene since then. She grew up in a small town in southwestern Wisconsin. In 2013, she made Hudson and Ashley Dental her home. Jessica enjoys treating patients of all ages. It is her joy to form relationships with people and see them through various phases of life. When Jessica is not in the office she is enjoying the outdoors with her husband and children.

Maya Breault – Dental Assistant

Originally from sunny California, Maya made the decision to move to
beautiful Wisconsin and brought her passion for dentistry with her. She’s
been dental assisting for over 8 years and loves what she does. Helping
patients feel comfortable in the dental chair is her top priority and she’s
proud to be a part of a team that values quality care and friendly smiles.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with son and two dogs;
whether it’s going for walks, exploring nature or just hanging out outside.

Patty Griswold – Office Manager

Patty was born and raised here in Hudson, she brings over 30 years of dental knowledge to Ashley Dental. She is a graduate of Century College Dental Assisting Program.

In Patty’s free time she enjoys spending it with her husband outside on the motorcycle or on the water. They have four fur babies that keep them very active.
